ELSA AI pricing

Fixed fees. Published. Scoped before you commit.

Most consultancies will not tell you what they charge until they have taken an hour of your time.

We publish our fees, we publish what they cover, and we tell you the fixed price in writing before any work starts and before you are committed to anything.

ELSA AI asks private healthcare providers to produce a documented, evidenced position on how they use AI. Our own pricing should meet the same standard.

Clinical AI Exposure Diagnostic™

£5,500 + VAT

Four working days from completed intake

Find out what AI is actually in use, what patient data it may touch, what evidence is missing and what should be prioritised in the next 30 days.

Clinical AI Safe Usage Launchpad™

Scoped from your Diagnostic findings

4 to 6 weeks

Turn the findings into a board-approved governance baseline covering policy, registers, DPIA readiness, patient wording, staff guidance, human oversight and incident processes.

A fixed fee and timeline are confirmed in writing before you commit.

AI Exposure Sentinel™

£950 per month or £10,500 per year prepaid, plus VAT

Quarterly, on an annual agreement

Keep an established governance baseline current as tools, staff use, supplier terms and external questions change.

Sentinel maintains an established governance baseline. It follows a Launchpad. A baseline built elsewhere may be considered after a separately priced review confirming that it is complete enough to maintain.

What you receive

Nine deliverables in one board-ready pack, plus the discovery work that produces them. Where a deliverable does not apply to your organisation, it is recorded as not applicable with the reason stated, so the pack stands as a complete evidence record.

  1. 1.

AI Tool and Use Case Inventory

Every AI tool found, declared and undeclared, with the patient data it touches, who owns it and what to do next.

  2. 2.

    Board Findings Report

What was found and what it means, written for partners and boards rather than for specialists.

  3. 3.

    RAG Exposure Map

Thirteen governance dimensions, rated, on one page.

  4. 4.

    Ambient Scribe Assessment Sheet

Where a scribe, transcription or note-generation tool is in use, in trial or planned.

  5. 5.

DPIA Readiness and Patient Data Exposure Note

    Written for your DPO.

  6. 6.

Vendor Data Position and Evidence Tracker

What each supplier has evidenced, and what is missing.

  7. 7.

MDO, PMI and Insurer Disclosure Readiness Note

What you can currently evidence if you are asked, and what you cannot.

  8. 8.

    30-Day Priority Action Plan

Every finding converted into a dated action with a named owner.

  9. 9.

    Source and Guidance Mapping Appendix

Every recommendation traced back to its source.

Also included

  • Confidential Staff AI Use Survey, reported at role level and never attributed to individuals.
  • Leadership interview and kickoff.
  • A 60-minute remote readout, 24 to 48 hours after the pack is delivered, so you have time to read it first.

What the four days is scoped to

How the fee is set

  1. 1

    On the discovery call

You receive an indicative fee range based on your organisation’s profile and declared scope. A fixed fee is not quoted against a scope that has not yet been measured.

  2. 2

    When intake is complete

The actual scope is measured: sites, staff, AI tools, suppliers, evidence volume, scribe status and regulatory footprint.

  3. 3

    Before work starts

ELSA AI confirms the fixed fee, delivery period and delivery window in writing. Where the confirmed scope is larger than first discussed, your organisation can accept the revised position or withdraw with a full refund.

  4. 4

    Once the clock starts

    The fee does not change.

If we find AI you did not know about

We usually do. That is one purpose of the Diagnostic.

Every tool identified is recorded in the AI Tool and Use Case Inventory with a patient-data indicator, an advisory RAG rating and a next action.

Where the footprint is wider than the engagement covers, the highest-exposure tools are assessed at full depth. The remaining tools are registered, with full evidence review recorded as a priority action and assigned to a named owner.

The delivery date does not move and the fee does not change.

Why the Launchpad does not have a published number

A Launchpad is built from the Diagnostic findings. Until those findings exist, nobody knows how many AI tools need governing, how many workflows need a documented human-review step or how much of the governance baseline already exists.

Publishing a number and moving it once the scope became visible would not be transparent pricing.

The Launchpad is therefore scoped from the Diagnostic, quoted as a fixed fee with a fixed timeline, and confirmed in writing before your organisation commits. It is a substantial multiple of the Diagnostic fee, typically a five-figure commitment.

Remote, by design

Every ELSA AI engagement is delivered remotely: leadership interview, confidential staff survey, evidence review, deliverable pack and readout.

The Diagnostic assesses the evidence the organisation provides, staff-reported AI use and supplier documentation. It is not an inspection of premises or a verification of day-to-day operational practice.

Remote delivery also protects the confidentiality of the staff survey and avoids creating the impression that activities not raised during an onsite visit have been cleared.
