GenAI Assure: an open governance framework for AI deployers
GenAI Assure is a free, cross-industry AI governance framework for organisations that use third-party AI tools rather than build models. It is written for deployers who need a practical way to discover use, evidence controls, decide ownership and keep governance current.
The framework was authored by Faisal Ali, Founder of ELSA AI, and published free under a Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 International licence (CC BY-ND 4.0). You may share it with attribution; derivative works are not permitted under the licence terms.

- Six control domains, from policy and ownership through to resilience and incident handling.
- A 30-60-90 day implementation path for organisations starting from informal AI use.
- Per-use-case testing playbooks for common third-party AI deployments.
- A shadow AI operations playbook for unmanaged staff and supplier use.
